If you have heard of this method by have been hesitant to try it dont worry i will let you in on a little secret this was my first time doing this and i was pleasently surprised at how easy it is to use. I show you how to install vinyl decals on a car using soapy water. The dry method as its name indicates does not use fluid but rather depends on the skill of the installer to correctly position the film. Those who are still learning need the flexibility that wetting solutions can offer.

Mix 4 6 drops of dish soap and a cup of water in a spray bottle. The wet method involves making a soap solution using a mixture of dish soap and water to get both the application surface and the adhesive side of the decal wet before applying the decal. The wet application method applies a vinyl graphic to a substrate by using a fluid to assist with positioning. Applying a vinyl graphic dry does not allow for mistakes. We highly recommend using the wet application method so you can remove and re position your decal as needed for up to several minutes. Slower than the dry method but no air bubbles. The wet applciation method helps with applying large decals and lineing them up straight by using a water dish soap application mix.

It s not hard but does take a little bit of time. Mix your wetting solution. Using the wet method is the best way to install a large vehicle decal or graphic to ensure a smooth bubble free finish. Once the vinyl touches the surface you cannot remove it without damage to the decal.
