American Standard Furnace Not Working

My american standard freedom 90 furnace has stopped working since morning.

Move your hand around the american standard furnace to see if there is any air circulating. Open and close the blower door. Check repair connections. If this keeps occurring you will need to contact your dealer or a repairman.

If heating does not come on within 5 minutes check heating. If you hear an unusual sound call your local dealer for service. Heating will not come on. If this door is not secure or is missing the unit may not run appropriately.

This will reset any lockout issues on your furnace. Set mode to heat and raise the setpoint above room temperature. Turn the unit off and allow the line to thaw. Check the pilot light.

Loose connection to control or system. I tried resetting the red switch on the side furnace emergency shut off switch. I saw the filter was dirty and full so i changed the filter which is 20 25 4 size big one. Minimum off time delay being enforced.

Review our list of common ac furnace smells. If this air is not cool it is likely that the coils on your furnace have frozen. System mode not set to heat. Tried setting the relay switch on and off.

Check the blower door.
